Alejo is Puerto Rico’s New Promise, He Talks Newest Release “Mi Bb” and Upcoming EP “32 de Diciembre”

Alejo is the new promise of the urban genre with songs that have captivated listeners including “Nacimos Pa’ Pelear” which has surpassed a million views on YouTube and his latest releases “Mi BB” and “El Malo.”

The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter first started his musical career at the age of 13 when a friend of his suggested he record a song. Although his very first track didn’t see the light of day, the next track he recorded “Mal Estar” was released.

Still on the journey of developing his sound, Alejo is proud of the growth that he’s had as an artist and humbly admits that with each day, he’s learning and perfecting his craft.

One of his most recent releases “Mi Bb” came alive over a FaceTime call between Alejo and his girlfriend. The concept just came to him and when he shared the chorus with his girlfriend, she loved it so much she urged him to finish the track. With the support it’s received, there is now a remix underway with the features yet to be officially announced.

The “Efectos Secundarios” singer hopes for people to love his music. Since he loves being on stage and sharing time with fans, his goal is for them to sing his music back to him so loud that he can’t hear the speaker.

Coming up this year, Alejo will drop an EP by the title “32 de Diciembre.” The concept is to forget everything that happened in 2020 and look forward to the future. He wants people to connect with the record, as it’ll signify the close of one chapter and the start of another.
