Bad Bunny and Univision’s Uforia Music Make History with Unique Virtual Concert Live From New York City

by Natasha Melina

On the night of September 20th, Bad Bunny made history during his first official virtual concert during the current pandemic. He teamed up with Univision’s Uforia Music and New York’s Latin radio station La X 96.3fm to create his own concert parade that would take him around New York City’s Uptown and the Bronx.

Many fans got to see him up close as he passed them by on New York City streets while he performed on top of a uniquely designed flatbed truck. For those who didn’t know, Uforia Music revealed that San Benito himself was the mastermind behind the truck’s design which was designed to resemble one of New York City’s famous subway carts.

The concert which streamed online was hosted by some of New York City’s top talents! Damaris Diaz, correspondent for Univision’s Despierta America co-hosted the concert alongside La X 96.3 fm’s own Brea Frank and Shino Aguacate!

The concert could not be anymore perfect, what more could you want from Bad Bunny performing all across New York City! That didn’t stop Bad Bunny or Univision’s Uforia Music from going above and beyond by giving us surprise performances from J Balvin, Sech, & Mora!

Giving his fans the pick me up that they needed, many fans have expressed just what Benito’s virtual concert meant to them. Since the pandemic began, these months have been tough on everybody in different ways but music has healing properties for your heart and soul, especially when it comes from somebody as humble, talented, and real as Bad Bunny.
