Danny Jai is the upcoming rapper you should have on your radar. The Texas born Mexican-American rapper first started his music journey in high school and has since found himself growing a dedicated fanbase as he continues to release catchy singles.

Just a few weeks ago, Danny premiered his new song “You and I” featuring Tory Lanez. During the process of creating the record, Danny Jai put a lot of thought into how he wanted listeners to feel. Sharing a little bit about the collaboration, Danny says “I’m all about positivity and good vibes, so that’s the mood I was going for. Tory Lanez is one of the hottest artists out right now. Having him on it just made it all come together.”

Growing up in the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas, Danny Jai found himself developing his skills before he even thought of pursuing music as a career. He found himself forming part of a local musical group where he was able to hone his skills as an artist and rapper.

Danny Jai is heavily influenced by his roots and represents them throughout his music and personal life. Being that Danny is a positive person and believer in good energy, he came up with the acronym “Real Good Vibes” which has become a life motto for the artist and when abbreviated also stands for Rio Grande Valley.

Besides being a hardcore Texan, Danny also prides himself in being Mexican-American, showing his heritage in past singles such as “R.G.V” and “Jugo” where he shows off his ability to rap in Spanish. Influenced by artists like Lil Wayne and Chris Brown, Danny Jai is on the rise and coming with new music as well as the official music video to “You and I” featuring Tory Lanez.
