The one of a kind British alternative R&B group Easy Life have dedicated these moves to establishing their sound over the past few years. When they announced their release of debut album “Life’s a Beach” this past June, fans were ecstatic. Their music provides an escape for anyone who needs it which is something that the band always strives for.

This past year, Easy Life have found themselves at the forefront of big headlines and titles, being named “Best New British Act” at the 2020 NME Awards and receiving their first radio play on BBC Radio 1. Hearing the opening track of  their album “a message to myself” play on the air has been their “most candid and cathartic moment  to date.” The track being open and honest about depression and the need for self-love makes the moment more special because it’s a message that Easy Life finds important to share with listeners so that nobody feels truly alone. Easy Life’s Murray talks about the song saying, “it’s a reminder to keep doing you. It’s a celebration of individualism at all costs. Be yourself, nobody can do you better.” The band spent time perfecting the song with renowned producer Bekon who’s credited on Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN’ and BJ The Chicago Kid’s ‘In My Mind.’

“Life’s a Beach” is a compilation of songs that acknowledges and discusses real issues surrounding mental health. “It’s a record that wishes it was anywhere else but here, yet at the same time fixates on a dreary middle England existence” says Easy Life singer Murray. As a band, Easy Life wants to continue to be a glimmer of hope and positivity in the world with their music as well as in their daily lives.

Recently joining Fortnite for a virtual performance, Easy Life is excited to continue performing for fans and meeting them as well since their record store tour in Europe has just kicked off!
