Made Represents Costa Rica with New Single “Oportunidad” and Tells Us Advice that Mau y Ricky Gave Her

by Natasha Melina

After breaking out into the music scene over four years ago, Made debuts her first release alongside Warner Music Mexico “Oportunidad.” It’s a song many can relate to – feeling alone in the world while searching for your twin flame.

Early on in her career, Made has already performed on the same stage as Nicky Jam, Piso 21, Sofia Reyes, and Ricardo Montaner to name a few. A moment that has helped shape her into the artist she now is can be credited to Mau y Ricky sharing a valuable piece of career advice. Mau told Made that if anybody ever asks her what genre she does to simply answer that she is an artist so that she has the liberty to make whatever music she wants.

In a recent interview with the Costa Rican songstress, she shares how she has evolved as an artist since she released her first solo song “Ya No” at the age of 18. As a singer-songwriter, her main inspiration has been Shakira as well as Hannah Montana.

When she first started making music, she dedicated herself to making heartbreak songs and ballads since the music was expressive of the stage of life she was at. Made says that “over time my music has matured with me which is cool because the public has been able to witness my evolution from baby Made to who I am now.”

With this latest single, Made shows her depth and growth as an artist in the music video with powerful imagery that references the solitude the song’s lyrics are all about.
