Morelli is the brilliant Latin Grammy-nominated Colombian singer-songwriter known for his work with recording artists Camilo, Jessi Reyez, Mau y Ricky, Gente de Zona, and Matisse. He has played a role in co-writing viral hits such as Mau y Ricky’s “La Boca,” “Papás,” and their feature in John Legend’s “Bigger Love Remix.”

Among many of his accomplishments is his work on Camilo’s most recent album Por Primera Vez” for which they received the Latin Grammy nomination for song of the year. The dynamic duo are back at it again as Morelli co-wrote Camilo’s latest hit “KESI.” The song even got a remix with Shawn Mendes hopping on the track and singing in spanish for the first time.

The singer-songwriter has recently debuted himself as a solo artist having released his very first single “Mala Conmigo” three months ago. The music video directed by Evaluna Montaner was an organic home movie where Morelli and his inner circle such as Camilo, Stef Roitman, Evaluna, and Mau y Ricky were enjoying a day at the pool. With all of the success that has followed the record, he recently performed at Miami’s Swim Week and has now premiered his second single “Like.”

The music video takes place in an arcade and counts on cameos from Pau Macher, Mau Montaner, and Sara Escobar. With a fun pop sound unique to him, the song is about those moments where you’re instastalking your crush and accidentally like an old post. Yikes, we’ve all been there!

While catching up with Morelli upon the release of the song, he let us in on a little secret – the song is based on true events! This is also how he first met his now fiance, Pau Macher. Morelli goes into detail talking about his real life modern love story in our recent interview.

Morelli has been blown away by the immense support he’s received from fans for both “Mala Conmigo” and “Like.” The positivity and buenas vibras that he radiates keeps fans coming back for more and attracts new listeners to his music.
