by Natasha Melina

Signed to Roc Nation just this past year, Heavy Hitter DJ Bodega Flee has always been an artist of the people. From Djing New York City’s hottest clubs, spending his time mixing at schools giving back to the kids in the neighborhoods he grew up in, to being a radio DJ in Florida, Bodega Flee has become a master at his craft and is undoubtedly one of the hottest DJ’s there is known for creating his own niche combining his love of Hip Hop and Latin music.

Even throughout a pandemic, Bodega Flee has had an incredibly successful year. He had the pleasure of being the official DJ for Tory Lanez’s Quarantine Live Radio last year and also DJ’d during Lanez’s Youtube Social Distancing Tour. These projects became extremely popular and were trending all over social media attracting the attention of fans as well as media. Because of his participation, Bodega Flee was extended the offer of being signed to Jay Z’s record label, Roc Nation which he proudly accepted.

Being Dominican and growing up all over New York City and even New Jersey, Bodega Flee was inspired at an early age to follow his passion which he discovered to be music. Just as important to him is his culture, “I’m definitely bringing the crossover culture with Hip Hop and Spanish music. I’m Dominican but I grew up in the Bronx which basically explains me and who I am today.”

With the passion that Bodega Flee has for music and his culture, it comes as no surprise that he’s been hard at work to combine the two in upcoming collaborations with a roster of huge Hip Hop and Latin artists such as Jim Jones, Tory Lanez, Zoey Dollaz, 42 Dugg, Melii, Rochy RD, Kiko El Crazy, and Chucky 73. Although no release dates have been announced, Bodega Flee says that fans need to prepare themselves because there’s plenty of bangers coming out to light up the streets.
